Labor Day Parade
Monday, September 3rd will mark the 66th annual Labor Day Parade in Marlborough. In years past, we have usually participated with a sizable number of Knights in polo shirts carrying our banner, and as many Knights in regalia as we can muster. This year, however, we have been asked specifically by the Parade Chairman to make a special showing to announce our 125th anniversary.
Mike Gibson is coordinating some vehicles. We have a trailer lined up and need some artistic family members who can create some big “125th” signs or other decorations to turn it into a float. Please contact Mike: districtdeputy@kofcmarlboro.org.
This is a sign up sheet here for everybody who want to march with us in the parade.
We have openings for:
1) Marching in polo shirts
2) Marching in regalia
3) Helping design and build a Float
And by “march” we mean stroll.
