During the month of December, KofC Council #81 held its annual “Keep Christ in Christmas” poster contest for the three parishes we serve:  Immaculate Conception, St. Michael, and St. Matthias.  This year 85 children submitted posters, sharing their Christmas spirit, and fulfilling educational credit in their religious ed programs. The artwork, spanning different age groups, was exceptional and the experience reinforced the importance of the true meaning of celebrating Christ’s birth.  From these entries, 11 posters were selected for the next level of the District and Statewide competition.  Congratulations to our winners,  and good luck in the District judging!  And special thanks to the religious ed teachers for taking part in this fun and educational program.

[Update]:  Three poster submissions from Immaculate Conception parish have won at the State Level!  Congratulations to Isabella Cardenas, Rene Rosa, and Valeria Cardenas!
