As many of you know, the Hudson Firefighters Relief Association fund was embezzled by its former Chief. These guys have raised money and honorably taken care of injured, fallen and the families of deceased firefighters for decades. Now they are trying to rebuild – their purpose and their honor.
One of our parishioners, Mary Piecewicz, an extraordinary minister at the 11 a.m. Mass, is involved. Her father, a retired Deputy Chief, died about six months ago.
If you have no place else to go for breakfast Saturday morning, join me around 10:00 a.m. The venue is in an industrial building across the street from Hudson Poly Bag on lower Main street in Hudson and is well marked.
It would also be a good way to say thanks to the Hudson Firefighters who responded by mutual aid last Sunday and helped save the I.C. Church.
